This is the Read Me for the MacBoy Organiser version 2.0 (680x0).
The Macboy Organiser is the premier desktop assistant for your Mac. Simple, versatile and powerful, it replaces a host of accessories to make your working day easy and fun.
Requirements:
680x0 (non PowerPC) Mac
1 - 2.5 Mb of free memory
3 Mb of space on your hard disk
System 7.0 or greater
MacBoy Lite:
With MacBoy you can write anything, use stationery pads, remember appointments, manage projects, keep track of people, look after your stuff and organise your time. MacBoy Lite is available free on the internet at www.macboy.com.
The Pro Plug-in:
For only $29.99, the Pro Plug-in turns MacBoy into a powerful workspace which perfectly compliments the Mac itself. Installation:
The MacBoy application should only be installed using the official installer. Double click the installer to start the installation and follow the instructions. The installer will place MacBoy and its support files onto the disk which you select. When the installation is complete, locate the MacBoy icon in the MacBoy folder and double click it. The first time that MacBoy starts up, it will ask which year you want it to initialise for. This process takes a few moments.
Some Pro Plug-in features require the following: Microphone, Modem, AppleScript™, Text to Speech, Netscape™.
There is also a PPC (Power PC) version available.
